Roomba scheduler. Roomba goes to charger, charges, then looses charge before it can be run again.

Roomba goes to charger, charges, then looses charge before it can be run again. The charge also takes six or more hours. The unit has only been used 4 times. Any help? Thank you, Cynthia Murphy.
