Rooms near Barcelona?

Does anyone know of VERY simple rooms within a bus route of Barcelona? Simple needs, water, light and peace during off season. Sorry no money but need to visit ex-pat brother and family.

yes near the train station francia its not far from the habour or the city centre you could walk from there. you will find plenty of rooms in hostals round there

Did you want a private room in, say, a "hostal" (budget hotel) or would you consider renting a room in someone's house? If you have little money the latter may be the best option.
