Manchester United’s striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 should be crowned the PFA’a Player of the Year, given the performances that the striker has been putting in this season.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international has also been nominated into the completion and despite him already winning it in 2010, he feels that Van Persie is more than likely to end up winning the award this season.
When talking about just who might win, the forward is quoted to have said: "It is nice to be nominated"
"Obviously it's a great award to win so and it's your work throughout the season that gets you into that position. But more than likely, Van Persie will win it."

As a result, he would like to improve his performances first, in order to satisfy himself before he thinks about lifting any personal awards.
"I have always said I don't just play football to score goals," he said.
"I like to enjoy the games and play well. Coming off the pitch on Sunday I felt it wasn't my best performance and watching the game back it wasn't.
"I am quite critical of myself. That is one of the things that keeps me going."
At the moment, Van Persie is the leading goal scorer in the Premier League, with Rooney closely following the Dutch international.
