Manchester United’s striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 has admitted that he is ready to go and is just waiting to be given the green light, before he can help England progress in the Euro 2012.
The striker is currently set to miss out on the first two games of the Euro 2012, due to a ban. The striker picked up a red card against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Montenegro-c2959 last year and is still looking to complete the number of matches that he has to sit out.
However, despite his ban, he was included in the England squad, simply because of the fact that he is quite important to the team.
When talking about the tournament and his participation in the team’s activities, the forward is quoted to have said: "I've had a rest and I probably needed that. Being in the squad feels good. It's a few weeks before I can play so I will aim to do some
good training to be ready if needed"
He then went on to talk about Roy Hodgson and how he appreciated the fact that the manager had placed him in his future plans for the team.
"You don't know if a new manager will have you in his plans so it was nice to know that I am," he added.

"It is important I do my training right. I have had a long time to think about missing the first games; it's disappointing but something I've dealt with and I am looking forward to the first game for the rest of the lads and hoping we can get something out
of that."
Rooney is quite possibly one of the most important members of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 squad at the moment. The striker is in from and has been consistently impressive for club and country in the past.
The team is more than likely going to struggle in his absence, but once he does return to the team, he is going to get a massive boost, which is more than likely going to help the national side.
Nonetheless, it is still anybody’s guess as to how far the team might go in the tournament.
