  1. go back might not of got it all out had a few done in my time

  2. I would call the dental office that did your procedure.Maybe they can phone in something stronger to your pharmacy and then they should see you ASAP.

  3. Just a side note to maybe help you out --- Don't let your head rest too low.  You need to keep it elevated and propped up on pillows when laying down.  Failing to do this may cause extra swelling and pain.

  4. Yes that's very normal, I've had 4 root canals and it takes a few days for the pain to subside. Taking a "ton" of over the counter pain pills is not good for your kidneys. I would suggest you go back to the dentist and see if you can pick up the prescription for the stronger pain killer, that way you won't be in pain and you will only have to take a pill once every 6 hours.

  5. Go see your dentist. I had a root canal and this was NOT my experience.

  6. If you don't have any allergies  try taking motrin.  It is over the counter  and can take up to 800 mg.    every 8 hours.   that should help,  continue to take the penicillian.   Sometimes people can be in pain after a root canal, if it isn't better by tommorrow  call the dentist  who did the root canal.   they may be able to prescribe something else for you.
