Root canal pain afterwards?

i got part 1 of a 3 part root canal on a molar tooth,it was done on friday 3 days ago and i have been in some pain ever since. im in more pain now than i was before! is this normal?

  1. yes it is. Come on they just drilled away at your tooth! it sould be in pain. Your dentist should have told you something to take for the pain. If s/he didn't ask him or her on your 2 part of the root canal. Sorry about the pain......


  2. No - call your dentist as soon as possible.  

  3. no i just got one done, my jaws were just sore the next day because my dentist took so damm long....

    so back and tell em they ****** up.. lol

  4. Ive just finished my treatment and the pain certainly didn't last for a few days but I did take nurofen plus for a while.
