Root canals/ please answer

okay heres the deal, i got a root canal, but instead of getting a regular cap, i got a temporary cap, but that cap came off, and tomarrow I'm getting the real cap put on, and the temp. cap has been off for for about 5 weeks with nothing covering it. do yall think that i will have to redo the whole root canal operation.

please help

It really should not be a problem-my temporary crowns always come off. Yes i have had many!~O

You will not need to have the root canal treatment redone but you will need to have the crown redone since your tooth has shifted and there will not be enough space for the permanent crown to fit. You should have gone back to your dentist when the temp crown came off!
