Question:

Root pressure and transpiration pull are maximum in which seasons?

Hello everybody,

I just came across such questions. I would like to know what you think the answer should be?

According to me:

Root pressure is maximum in rainy season because of surplus availability of water outside the roots.

Transpiration pull is maximum in summer season because of greater volume of water lost in transpiration.

But I have found few people disagreeing with me on these answers. Can you please shed some light on that?

Thank you.
