I heard a pop like you'd hear in short fuse with a little spark I suppose coming from the refrigerator. When I went to check I noticed that around the plug there was a black imprint and it wasn't working anymore. I unplugged the fridge and tried other outlets near by but no luck. I am a renter, called the superintendent, no answer. I have lots of food in it and would hate to see them go bad. I'd like to fix it myself if it's possible or have it repaired rather than waiting for a response from the super. I reside in 10024 area in Manhattan. If you can help me to find a repair service close by or even better how to fix it I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much in advance.
