Rory McIlroy takes into consideration offers for his $2.45 million mansion
Rory McIlroy’s luxurious mansion located just outside Belfast has received numerous offers in the past, but two offers are being taken under consideration at the moment.
The estate agent from Hollywood, Michael Rodgers, who is the negotiator of the deal, said that the sale will most probably be completed early next year.
The Hollywood-based estate agent only talked business. In a statement, he said that all the people who have visited the property are good buyers and are all capable of buying the house.
Rodgers went on to say that time-wasters will be discouraged and only people who want to buy the house will be entertained.
Referring to the deal, Rodgers said: "They are not too far away, but then that is a matter which is out our hands. Having received them in such a short period of time, however, is an indication
of the level of qualified interest in this particular property".
With such a tight schedule, McIlroy thought it was wise to sell the mansion. The whole year is either spent overseas or away from home.
McIlroy is speculated to be buying an adobe near the Bear’s Club where he carries out his routine practices.
As per the details given by the report, the Northern Irishman is buying a mansion worth $10 million on the Palm Beach Gardens.
The three-year-old mansion covers a 10,000 square feet area, and has six bedrooms with nine bathrooms, a small dock and a putting green.
His five-bedroom mansion on the outskirts of Belfast was very close to the 23-year-old. It is a fourteen acre state, has a gymnasium and multiple golf practicing areas, where one can drive
and putt on different greens.
The decision of selling out the place was not an easy one for McIlroy and said that although he has a lot of memories of the place but, due to “purely practical and commercial reasons,” he
is left with no choice but to sell off the place to the highest bidder.
McIlroy was quoted as saying, "I have really enjoyed living here. It is a really special place which has allowed me to relax and unwind - when I get time!"
