Rosarito, Mexico beach camping?

Has anyone camped on the beach in Rosarito, MX? Is it safe? Share your experiences.

Sorry to say there have been some robberies at the surf spots. The best one I can recommend is at Alisitos/La Mision.near K58.

I would like to hear from people also. I did notice on the internet some pay camping spots in the area of mexico just south of san diego, but no details about security, etc.

Its safe, there are a lot of places.

Robberies do occur sometimes, but no different than camping places in other countries.

Just don't bring expensive things (this is recommended always when you travel anywhere) and try to be careful when you lock up or go the beach. In Mexico we have a saying: the opportunity creates a thief.

Use common sense.
