Hello. I am looking for a house on the beach in rosarito to rent with some friends. The areas we are considering and Rosarito shores and Calafia (sp?) Does anyone know about these areas or what they're like? If they're safe? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you :)

  1. Rosarito is absolutly safe.  dont listen to that garbage. ive owned a home their for the past 5 years and have never felt unsafe.  I go about twice a month and have never had a problem or heard of a problem where i live.  Only bad thing is tourism is down so the clubs/tourist spots are dead.  but on the other hand you can get some good deals!  go and have a good time and dont worry.

  2. It's safe. Just like the U.S.

If you play with fire, you'll get burnt

  3. Safe as any other place in the world. You safety is up to you...don't get drunk and obnoxious, respect the people around you. Business is slow, so come down, spend some money have a good time. Bien Viaje Oh, ps, no road side bombs here.

  4. Rosarito is not safe unless you stay in the resort and party there without going into the city hotspots. Calafia is a little more quality and if you call the baja california  tourism they can give you  phone numbers of houses that they rent. Passports or birth certificates with ID are required now. Be careful it is not what it used to be.

  5. theirs this place called La palomas resort, its cool and its not that expensive! Right across the street from the old pay booth in rosarito and across the street from ampm store where everybody pays fro gas and snacks, cant miss it! Its gated and nobody else can go in unless they are staying their, the clubs arnt to far away,2-4 minutes away if not less! The rooms are like little apartments, cooking dishes,glasses,knives,chimney,radio,tv,k... The beach is a few yards away(walking distance) try it,wont b dissappointed!
