Rose hair tarantula!!!!!?

Question

She's been really moody, it seems like every time I touch her she gets all jumpy and moves quick. (she used to move slowly and I was able to pick her up) Also She isnt eating to much.. Right now their are two crickets underneath her and she's not doing anything..

Another question is how do they start acting when they're about to shed?

Rose Hair's are one of the most weirdest species of tarantulas out there. They are whacky, have multi-moods and are very 'weird' in general. If she isn't eating then you should take the crickets back out of her tank so they do not stress her out. It sounds like she may be getting ready to molt(shed) and when she is like this she may be stressed or annoyed so I wouldn't handle her for a while. They all act different when about to molt but one thing is for sure that they stop eating. However, Rose Hairs have tend to be weird and stop eating for months at a time.

she might be getting ready to molt and so tries to prevent getting touched so her new "skin" doesnt get stuck to her as she tries to pop out of the old skin.
