Rosell promises Messi's services at Barca until he is president
Barcelona’s president, Sandro Rosell, has recently said stated that Lionel Messi is a player who is crucially needed by the Catalan Giants. He insisted that if it were to him, he would never want Messi to leave the Spanish club.
With respect to this, Rosell also insisted that he would not let Lionel Messi leave the Catalan club as long as he is president.

"At Barcelona, there are many things that are not for sale at any price, and Messi is a person who is just that for us.”
Sandro Rosell then spoke about retaining the Catalan for as long as he is the president of the club. He said:

Barcelona have already made adjustments with the Argentinean star which would not see him leaving the club anytime soon. The FIFA Ballon d’Or winner has a contract which will keep him at the Catalan club till 2016. Moreover, Messi has stated many times that
he is going to remain at the club for many more years to come.
