  1. i havent but i have heard it really works

  2. Though I have never used Rosetta Stone, I have two family members who have used it and are now fluent in their third and fourth languages - among them are Arabic, Spanish, and German. If you're going to learn a language using software, your best bet will always be Rosetta Stone. It's so popular because it's so well-rated. It's a very smart investment.

  3. It is not the best option from an academic standpoint.  It's best for people who want "quick immersion" because they're travelling, or working in, a different country.

There are better options for a homeschooled program, such as Power Glide or Tell Me More.

RS doesn't teach much grammar, which, IMO, is it's major downfall.

If you do want to use it, first get the demo disc from them to see if it matching you, or your child's, learning style.

Many public libraries have free access to RS for card holders.  Check with yours before purchasing it.

  4. it depends on your learning style....ive seen people excel with it and people hate it so much the destroy the cd's (not really destroy the cd's). If your more of an audiovisual learner, this would prolly be good for you, if not it just may be but again it depends on you
