Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky has gone on to insist that Arsenal’s upcoming game against Wigan Athletic will be a challenging game and urged his side to maintain their focus in the match.
The Gunners will take on Wigan on Monday, with both the teams looking to pick up the three points for completely different reasons.
The North London club will be looking to pick up a win, in order to maintain their form in the league and to ensure their qualifications for the Champions League in the coming season.
On the other hand, Wigan will look to pick up the win, in order to avoid falling into the drop zone and to ensure their survival in the league.
Rosicky, when talking about the game insisted that Wigan weren’t going to be an easy team to beat and considering how they had already beaten Manchester United, Arsenal were going to have to proceed with caution.
The midfielder, when talking about the upcoming game is quoted to have said: "Wigan beat Manchester United on Wednesday, so that’s an indication that it will be a tough test for us"
"We’ll have to be on top of our game to win, no doubt about it. Wigan have some very good players and a good young manager, so this will be a very tough match for us.”
"We have a great chance to stay in [third] position, but now we have to make sure of it. That starts against Wigan on Monday - and make no mistake, it’s a very big game for us.”
"People might not usually regard a match against Wigan as such a big one, but they are still battling relegation, so there is a lot at stake for both of us.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have now managed to win a highly impressive nine out of their last ten games. Should the team tap into that form against Wigan, they could easily go on and claim all three points from their upcoming game.
