Rosmon Charlie to strike a third victory in the College Causeway A2 525 Semi-Final at Shelbourne Park
Competing in the Grade A2 College Causeway A2 525 Semi-Final are Ashfield Impact, Captain America, Rosmon Charlie, Barefoot Duke, Seven Cities and Duke Box Melody. The race is being held at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards on Wednesday, 28th March.
A highly hopeful entry for the race is Rosmon Charlie, Eskimo Jack’s two-year-old black daughter out of b***h Kelleroo. The two-year-old is racing through her debut season and has only ventured out four times, out of which two were victories.
She broke into the season on 4th February over 400 yards, a distance that two others covered before Rosmon Charlie got a chance and thus concluded the race third.
The winner of the race was Kilscan Saga who clocked the distance in 22.31 seconds and led the field by three lengths.
Her debut victory came her way on 18th February in a race that was held over 525 yards.  She reached the other end of the wire in 29.40 seconds and had 5 ¼ lengths in her favour. Settling for the second position was Mystic Stroke.
Yearning for further success, Rosmon Charlie got the very next start going her way on 24th February. In a race over 525 yards, she timed the track distance in 29.17 seconds and had a close contention with the runner up, Avas Castle, who was adrift
by a very slight margin of a shoulder.
The fourth start of the season that could have easily guaranteed Rosmon Charlie her hat trick, turned into an unfortunate race.
On 2nd March, she ended fifth in a 525 yards race that was won by Dooey Cranky who completed the trip in 28.96 seconds.
She is in for the fifth start of the season and racing right after a serious loss will have her all motivated for getting the race right under her belt. Fifth start and third victory is all that she needs to race for tonight.
Another entry who has been performing consistently lately is Ashfield Impact. He has scored second in both the starts and has been trained thoroughly. He will be seeking victory through the third start of the season.
