Ross Brawn says Michael Schumacher displayed all his skills in Brazilian GP – Formula 1 news
Mercedes team principal, Ross Brawn, has told that Michael Schumacher displayed all his skills during the last race of his career in Brazil this weekend.
“Michael showed all of the skills that we know he has to salvage his race; considered overtaking, good decisions on tyre strategy, and he kept the car on the road to bring us home some points,” Brawn said. “It was a nice way to finish the season and his
career with us.  In terms of results, his second spell in Formula One hasn't been as special but it has been so for all of us who have had the privilege of working with him.”
He added that working with the legendary driver has been an honour for all the people who work for the team. He said that when you are working with Schumacher, you definitely understand about what makes him such an outstanding F1driver and how he was successful
at securing seven world championships. Brawn stated that the German driver will be missed badly and that the team wishes him all the luck for his future.
Schumacher finished seventh in the Brazilian GP while his progress had been hindered by a car puncture earlier in the race just like his last race of 2006 when he was competing against Fernando Alonso  in hopes of an eighth title. The driver had stated earlier
that he was hoping to enjoy his last race this time unlike the first retirement and that the Interlagos circuit was perfect for it as it also reminded him of the late Ayrton Senna.
After his race, Schumacher said that he has definitely enjoyed the exciting race and that he is extremely thankful to all his fans for their unwavering support. He has also congratulated Sebastian Vettel, another German, for becoming the youngest triple
champion.
Schumacher’s dream of achieving another title within the three years with Mercedes never came true but he is retiring after spending more than two decades in the sport with remarkable results and records to his name. Unlike before, Schumacher has denied
that he will be coming back to F1.
