Ross Taylor terms New Zealand as favourites against Australia – Cricket News Update
New Zealand’s captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LRPL-Taylor-c1849, showed massive hunger for victory against the Australian side in the upcoming 2-match Test series.
The 27-year-old claimed that the Kiwi team is all set to beat the opponents, terming his side as favourites ahead of the cracking competition against the Aussies.
"We want to win every game. I wouldn't say we've got a better chance here. We're in a good space at the moment. We're confident with the way we've been playing. We need to do the basics well," New Zealand’s skipper voiced while
talking to the media.
The first match of the 2 Tests is scheduled to begin from December, 1, 2011, at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, in Brisbane.
Before the start of the Gabba Test match, the way Black caps’ skipper showed confidence on his side indicates that the cricket lovers are going to have a nail biting contest in the coming five days.
Australia and New Zealand have been head-to-head in 50 Test matches so far.
The Aussie side has always been top though, winning 26 matches, compared to the 7 wins by New Zealand.
Considering the past record, the visiting side may find it tough to beat the home team despite Taylor’s confidence.
Coming back to New Zealand skipper’s claim, he asserted that it has always been exciting to play against Australia.

guns in the team.
"In our change room we have some young cricketers who are really looking forward to playing this match. We are not daunted by that record; we see it as an opportunity. It will be up to us (to break it)," Wright cited.
