New Zealand captain, Ross Taylor, has expressed that captaining a team at the international level is not easy and it is extremely difficult for him to fill the boots of some great Kiwi captains like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DL-Vettori-c1384.
Taylor was appointed the captain of the Black Caps after the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 at Colombo. Former captain, Vettori, resigned from the post after the mega event and also retired from
limited overs cricket, however, the left arm spinner is still available to play Test cricket for New Zealand as a player.

Taylor said that New Zealand cricket has produced a number of great captains in the past and it is going to be a huge challenge for the middle-order batsman to revive the performance of the Kiwi team in international cricket.
He said, “I guess I have never thought of it that way. Following Dan you would always be literally filling in some big boots, but yes New Zealand has been fortunate enough to have a tradition of great cricket captains”.
One of the positives for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 is the fact that he is by far the best Kiwi batsman at the moment and it is a massive opportunity for him to lead his team from the front. It is always easy for a captain to marshal his troops when his personal performance
is up to the mark.
Taylor praised the captaincy style of Fleming and said that he was a brilliant strategist and this was the reason why Kiwi cricket accumulated a lot of success during his reign.
“It’s hard to do that with captaincy, especially when both of them have been such great captains. I played a little under Stephen and he was regarded as one of the great captains at the time - tactically very strong and a really good cricketing brain”, Taylor
added.
