Question:

Rossetta Stone Online Subscription?

Is there any way I can save the lessons to my computer? If not, does anybody have any tips on how to memorize everything I'm learning (record it, write it down, ect)? I only have enough $ for the 3 month subscription, I can't buy the actual program and I wont have it for long. Also, does it even work?

Side note: I want to get the German language, but I dont expect to become fluent in it in just three months. What I do want though is to be able to listen to a German guy say something to me, and being able to understand the point of the sentence and be able to give him a response. Can I do this in three months?

  1. You'll understand as much as you put into any language.

Will you truly understand anyone within 3mths that depends on you. Three months is a short amount of time, but again if you put your all day and night.. It might be done.

I'm not sure about Rosetta Stone. But here is a free learning program, which is very similar to R.S. They do offer German.

I'm using it to refresh some basic concepts and I think it's great.

It has pictures, sound, and practice just like R.S.

You'll figure it out, as it gives you a quick lesson (learn) before you practice. It saves your work and allows you to go back over the topic.

Now I'm not saying it's better, but it's close and FREE!
