Rossi Needs More Time To Recover

Valentino Rossi’s fans wait desperately for his return to the world of racing. Every second day there is something or the other in the news about his return. In last week’s update it was reported that the motor bike racer is recovering very fast and it is only a matter of another couple of weeks that we will witness him again on the race track in all his force and energy.

Rossi has been recovering really fast, faster than the doctors thought he would. Well that must not be very surprising as this man had always been known for his speed and energy. What he has always displayed at the racing circuit has been exhibited by him on the hospital bed as well. Rossi has always defied human limitations and surprised everyone with his pace, no matter what he does.

Despite the energy and physical improvement that he has shown it is too early to say exactly when he would be back for racing. Many newspapers and websites reported last week that the man is expected to take part in German GP, scheduled to be held 16th to 18th of this month, at the Sachsenring, however no official report has yet confirmed the news.

So far the news that has come forward is that the hero of the Yamaha team and the toughest competitor of MotoGP is still using crutches to walk and does not plan to return to racing yet another long while. It is though reported that his leg injury is healing in a considerably faster pace and Rossi had already started putting small amounts of weight on it but still he thinks that he must not haste and let himself recover completely before he re-enters the race arena.

Valentino Rossi the most popular and successful motorcycle racer of all times faced the worst crash of his entire career on June 5, 2010, at turn 13 of Mugello Circuit during a practice session in Italy. The crash resulted in an open fracture, claiming double-broken right shinbone. As per the early medical reports the rider needed a few months before he would be able to return to racing. Yet it was only after a week or so that reports started disseminating that the racer is recovering very fast and might be able to return in a month’s time.

Valentino Rossi, born in February 1979 is the most famous and celebrated professional motorcycle racer who had been able to bag multiple MotoGP World Champions. He is the most successful racer ever witnessed by the sport tagging nine Grand Prix World Championships to his name.

His love of racing comes from his father, Graziano Rossi, another Italian Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Rossi junior started racing in 1996 in Grand Prix for Aprilia riding 125 cc category and was able to win his first World Championship in the second year of his racing. Next he escalated himself to the 250 cc category with Aprilia and won the World Championship in the year 1999. In 2001 he won the 500 cc World Championship with Honda and the MotoGP World Championships in 2002 and 2003 with the same team. The next year he left Honda to join Yamaha and was able to win title for the next two years successively. After a gap of two years the phenomenal racer was able to regain the title in 2008 and then repeated the same in 2009.

Rossi holds the record of being the  first racer to have 78 victories in the 500 cc/MotoGP race and second man in motorcycle race history to have up to 104 race wins, the first being Giacomo Agostini with 122 in total.

Well, the legendary racer is now being waited at the track tremendously however yet there is no official confirmation for when the Italian man would make his return. Currently he is reported to have moved out of hospital and gone to his holiday home at Ibiza to continue his recuperation. His fans with all the prayers and best wishes wait for him to return as soon as possible.
