This from soup : http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2007/Nov/071104e.htm

Rossi will be on j*p rubber and Lorenzo on the French stuff.

Is this really a good move? Has all the the problems this year been with rubber? I dont think so. The Yammy has not been great, so If Lorenzo beats him on his old stuff....................... ???

You know whats coming now !! Roll on ..... Pre season testing !!!

  1. funny how the man switches when the chips are not in his favor.

I don't think its the tires. I think Stoner and the duc are the best package.

Rossi had his own tires for years and was kicking tail because of that. Now he has been on second best rubber and we are seeing the spoils

Sucks for him having to ride like the others for a change

  2. Hi Wiggysan

He could be left with egg on his face if Lorenzo/Toseland/Edwards (!) kick his ar$e - though it's not likely.

I don't know why he was playing coy with Suzi Perry - everyone knew it was a done deal last week didn't they?

    It's gonna be interesting!

  3. and exactly how is this a racing question?

  4. It's a smart move, we have to admit that. We all know that sometimes the Michelin tyres are just better, but in other cases Bridgestone are the best. For me they are ensuring a podium in both situations... (of course I could be wrong :))

Still 2007 was so bad not only because the tyres were no good but also because of the bike. If the team wants to win.... they will have to work more on the bike!

  5. Hi wiggysan.  That's going to stir things up nicely. what happened to the notion that Lorenzo was going to get identical machinery as Rossi. Tyres can't be classed as part of the machinery. we will all be keeping an eye on testing this winter. I wonder how long before Lorenzo kicks off.
