Roswell and UFO's?

What do u guys reckon happened on July 7th 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico? Do you think we will ever find out what happened? Will we ever know the truth?

Well, I reckon those little freaks were out there "observing" the goings on at White Sands Missile Base.  Apparently, their technology wasn't as advanced as it is today, because one of their little craft crashed and gave them away.  Truman believed in Roswell.  Oh, yes, he did.

Mitchell was one of 12 humans to walk on the Moon.  Apollo 15 I think.  Most of the astronauts reported "strange" events on space flights.  Armstrong and Aldrin reported they saw aliens and their craft on the Moon.  The aliens basically told them to stay away.  So from 1972 or so, we have stayed away!

In this day and age every second person has a digital camera or camcorder capable of producing high definition, high quality pictures. Yet.... there's not one single clear indisputable picture of an Alien, a spaceship or anything supernatural. If I took a picture of a jumbo jet 25,000 up...the picture could be blown up and enhanced to such an extent that you could see faces at the window. Whether it's yeti's or aliens, there's always something wrong with the picture. Why is that? it's always slightly out of focus or disputable. Whereas if i took a photo of you...even 500 yards away, we'd all know it was you.

Yes, I believe a vehicle of extra-terrestrial origin crashed on that ranch in Roswell. The government covered it up and is still keeping it silenced for two reasons.

One: the craft's technology has been used to create weapons, aircraft and spacecraft that are far beyond what we, the general public, are allowed to know about. These must never be allowed into the wrong hands.

Two: If all the world's people knew that extra-terrestrial life was real, we would start to think of ourselves as citizens of Earth rather than of the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, etc. Since such things are part of how we, the common people, are controlled, those really in control do not want their power shaken.

Laugh all you want. It's the truth anyway.

Personally I believe in the Roswell Crash. And I think there is a fairly reasonable answer why no one has ever found anything documentation.

In July 1947, Roswell air base was the only place in the entire world where nuclear weapons were present (nuclear energy). While I am not particularly a UFO believer (although I love the idea)

Furthermore at that time the Air Force did not exist, it was a branch of the Army - it became its own branch in October 1947. Thus all these people looking for information have been hounding the wrong branch of the military for records for decades!

The United States govt covers up things all the time. But since 1966, the Average American has had the legal right to request documents from the government under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Under which you can demand from any agency all files on anything thing you want, and they have to hand them to you within 20 days -- or come up with a d**n good excuse why they can't under a list of exemptions (the main one being Nat'l Defense).

I doubt you'll be surprised to know that most FOIA requests to all of the agencies involve UFOs.

First of all I don't believe any part of the story and secondly, why would the government have any reason to cover it up,  No reason at all.

The history channel ran a good documentary a few months back- it obtained records from the Eisenhower administration that was amazing- he verified that the Roswell incident was indeed a UFO and contained several aliens that included 3 that were still alive - one died soon afterwards and one lived for a few weeks longer and one lived for several months- the documents showed who he put in charge of the investigation and the back engineering of their spacecraft, which they to this day are unable to do so - the space craft was taken to a Air Force base in Ohio. They were able to establish communication with the alien that lived for a while- he said that the travel from one point of the universe to another point was instantaneous.The space ship was controlled by some type of instrument that fit on the aliens head, and he controlled it with his mind. The alien also told them that death did not matter because they came back- perhaps a form of reincarnation?

You would have a tendency to believe the history channel, especially when they seemed to have all the facts and records straight- It was an extremely interesting presentation!

I don't buy it.  There are too many problems with the idea that we're being visited by intelligent aliens.  

1)  We don't pick up any transmissions or evidence of their ships on our equipment.

2)  Unless they can travel faster than light it would take them thousands or millions of years to get here and an equal amount of time to go home.  It doesn't make sense to make that sort of trip because your findings are out of date by the time you report back.  

3)  If they can travel faster than light then relativity theory is wrong.  Relativity theory has stood up to every test so far.

I mean anything is possible, but I find this so unlikely that I don't think it's happening.
