Rotary phones?

My rotary phone doesn't ring when someone calls. I don't know whether the ringer is damaged or if there is one. Is there a place that would inspect my phone and add a ringer in Bradenton,FL? What would be the cost?

you can buy real cheap an Ringer amplifier from Radio Shack!!

Open up your phone and if the black ringer wire is on the "G" s***w terminal, move it to the "L1" s***w terminal.  Your phone may have been wired for party line ringing.
