Rotary student exchange?

someone told me about this and said it was one of the cheaper ones... the website doesn't have very much info...it says several days to several weeks for short term exchange. does this mean i can choose when i go? i want to go for a few weeks preferably between november and february...also it lists the things you have to pay for (airfare, insurance, spending money,etc.) and it doesn't sound too expensive, but how much does it actually add up to?... any one who has used rotary i need your stories

it depends on where you are going, i know a couple of people that went to brazil and japan as exchange students and they had to pay for the airfare and the money they spend there, i was told by them that they make you do a list of the countries you want to go but its very unlikely that you will be send to one of those, of the people that i know all of them have stayed for a year but you could ask in person

It is a good idea to compare and see other options and prices. I suggest that you check www.beautifulspain.com as it is an excellent program in which there are many activities and excursions included in the price. Actually, really affordable considering everything included. Summer is the best time to participate. Location is a beautiful beach resort in Spain. Host families are really well screened compared to other programs. Everything is extremely well taken care of and it caters to small groups so that the attention is extremely personal.
