Rotating the strike will be the key to success against Pakistan, says David Warner – Cricket News Update
Australia’s premier opening batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE), and mentioned that temperament will be the key for him to score big runs
against a world-class bowling attack.
The left-handed opening batsman made his way to international cricket in 2009 and impressed one and all with his ability to hit the ball hard. Early in his career, Warner was reckoned only as a limited-over specialist and there were some serious question
marks over his temperament. The 25-year-old cricketer however, debuted in Test cricket last year and has been a permanent member of the Australian side in all three formats since then.
In the upcoming battle against the Green Shirts in UAE, which consists of three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals, Warner is expected to play a massive role for the Kangaroos, especially because http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558, his opening partner, has been rested for the
50-over format and will join the T20 squad.
Warner, who usually looks to hit boundaries, admitted that he may have to change his game according to the conditions in UAE because the Pakistani bowlers, especially the spinners, will not offer too many poor balls. The aggressive left-hander understands
that he must show additional responsibility by making an effort to bat through the innings and allow the other batsmen to play around him.
"The challenge for me is to keep rotating the strike. I can’t just go ‘three dot balls and I’ve got to hit a boundary’. If I do get bogged down for three balls I can’t just try to hit it out of the park and get a soft dismissal. That would put us in a tough
situation and it says I’m not playing for the team," expressed Warner.

"The boys challenged themselves and we got through it pretty well and now we’re looking forward to that challenge," the budding opener added.
