  1. It wont go through bricks. It shouldn't damage the prongs underneath but when you use it, the rotovator will jump violently, if this happens and you cant hold it, let go. Modern rotovators will cut out soon as you let go.

Spend an hour hooking out any bricks on the surface with a fork first :)

  2. No, But they will bring them to the surface.

  3. The machine will kick the bricks to the surface.Rotivators come in two types. The cheaper one is one with no rear wheels, which means you have to use brute strength to make it go where you want it to,as it gallops away and it can harm you back. The second type is quite pricey but you steer it like a car and is a pleasure to use and more controllable. If the soil is sticky than you must put enormous amounts of SHARP sand to make it draining, otherwises it will go back to how it was pre-rotivating.The weather has to be right,it needs to have rained heavily, and then a couple of fully dry days then you get the machine. The rain will make the soil workable and the dry days will make it breakupable.Dry weather will make the machine bounce off the soil

  4. no it can't, but then neither would a spade...<^><..
