I'm looking for a new puppy and I love the look of rottweilers, but they're just too massive! I was wondering if there is a mix with a smaller dog so that they might have a look similiar to a rott but smaller. Thanks!

  1. A purebred miniature pinscher.

  2. for me the best pets are mutts (mixed breeds) they are smarter then full breeds cause of there mixed traits ..

the dog i would recommend would be

rot wilier mixed with german Shepperd  (great dogs , smarts , guards , protects , and friendly with male or female dog , easily  trainable doesn't bark unless he see's other people around your house)

but that's all from my dog

he sheds but only a small time

but hes grows  tall in a small amount of time but doesn't grow massive as full breed rots..and they have no aggression amoung samller dog and bigger dogs ..

  3. maybe a min pin would suit you.

  4. I would say try mixing one with a beagle or a basset hound.

A beagle's physiquee is very similar but with bigger ears and a longer tail.  A basset hounds shares some characteristics with a beagle only it is a little more unique.  Both have short hair.  (whichever ones you breed with could you send me puppy pics)

  5. You're kidding, right??

    Tell me you're kidding.

A rottweiler and a chihuahua --- new designer breed I suppose, boggles the mind.

Go to your local shelters, pick a dog that looks like a rottie but is small enough to suit you - tons of mixes there just looking for good homes.

  6. Yes, there are mini rotties,  AKA Carlin Pinschers. But they have no Rottweiler ancestry. They just looked just like them, same color, but smaller. I love Rotties too, but i cant get a big dog, thats why im looking for one too! :)
