Rough price estimation UK?

Question

How much is it roughly to get a dog spayed?

I live in the UK so please consider this in your answer.

She will be getting spayed no matter what the price is, i just want to know how much it will be.

Depends on the breed and where you get her spayed.

For a Lab sized female you're looking at around £120, toy breeds less and large breeds more.

EDIT:  I'd expect a BC to be a bit less than a Lab then, but all vets vary. You're best to just call round your local vets and check out their prices for the op and also ask about the after care.

Well in the US, it's aprx. $150.00, at least that's about what I paid the last time I think. Call your local vet though. They should be able to give you an idea of cost.

Best advice would be to call a series of vets, it also goes by dog size/breed, etc... I know here in the states we have a website called Friendsofanimals.com or org, and they have a list of vets that are certified through them, you pay a deeply discounted price and they mail you a certificate (I think it was 25 to have my male cat nuetered) you take the cert to the vert you choose from their list, and thats it, may be worth googling to see if they have a program like this for the UK, also I know the MSPCA (the state run animal protections agencies, and shelters) offer discounted "fixing"
