Roughly how many people are flying in the world at any one time of the day?

in my own head, i think that there is at least one passenger aircraft landing EVERY second!

and i imagine that it would be much more...they sell 7 sets of lego every second....so I would imagine that it could even be 5 or 20 landing per second

I think I read somewhere that it's around 65,000, and I think that was just Americans. Don't hold me to this, I'm going by bad memory.
