  1. It depends on your insurance company and your location. Can't give a rough estimate without more information

  2. Roughly ...... not too much.  Seriously, insurance costs depends on the driver as much as the car, including experience, driving record, age, occupation, where you live and so on and so on.  Try getting some hypothetical quotes on line.

While it's not small and while it has a turbo, it's a diesel family car and not something high-performance, so shouldn't be TOO eye-watering.

  3. How long is a piece of string?

They're group 8 insurance, so not too bad (the turbo doesn't make any difference - they're a lower insurance group than the 1.8 petrol).

The best thing to do is to run it through confused.com for a quote.

  4. Totally depends on ur age mate, if your young then megabucks as it has a turbo buit if ur over 25 it shouldnt be as steep!

  5. I reckon I'd pay about £150 -£180.

    But I'm an old f**t with a zillion years no-claims and a squeaky-clean licence and a garage!

  6. Get a quote online or from an agent. There really is no good way to give you a "rough cost" as it depends on your driving history, age, location, other drivers, credit score, etc. There could be $500+ in difference just based on a couple wildcards like that. They would also need to know how much you travel with it and your VIN number.

  7. I don't have an answer but my cars have always been worth less than £500. Maybe your Mondeo is about the same.

I always go for just Third Party (no fire or theft) and agree a big excess of £200/£300.

If it gets nicked it gets nicked (though I do use a security device or immobiliser so this is unlikely).

Over the years this has saved me quite a bit in premiums.

  8. Post code ?

    Age ?

    Time holding driving licence ?

    Number of Claims ?

Car will be left in garage ?

All this can give you a quote from £200 up to £1200 if not more.

You will need to check those price comparison website to find out your policy price.

    All the best
