Roughly how much is a hot air balloon ride?

me and my boyfriend want to go on a balloon ride....but i don't know how much it costs! anyone who's been before can they tell me please x

I do not know where you are from...but I was on one in Arizona and it was very expensive. It was about $175 per person. We met at a small airfield at about 6am. Apparently it is too hot later or less wind currents later in the day. They sent up a regular latex balloon to see what the air currents were doing. The test balloon results did not come out satisfactory so they drove us to a place further out in the desert and did another test. That one came out OK. Then they laid out this massive balloon on the desert sand and started up this machine that blows hot air into it and all the guys helped to lift the balloon into place. We then got in with two other couples (you generally are with other people since it is too expensive to go alone). We lifted up over the desert and it was spectacular! The things you notice is that it is SO QUIET except for the blast when they turn the fire on and blow more air into the balloon. We saw coyotes feeding on carcasses in the desert, the foothills and a very cool view of the shadow of our own balloon on the hills. One thing you will want to remember is to bring a camera and bring a HAT. (your head can actually get hot from the fire that blows the air into the balloon). Coming down can be a little bumpy and tricky....but don't be afraid....they know what they are doing. When we landed we had breakfast and champagne in the desert! I highly recommend it. If you don't have the money....save up for it!
