  1. To be comfortable, probably about £100 a day.  That will give you enough to enjoy life to a good standard, go out to a theatre or a club and have a good meal or visit a tourist haunt or two.  I wouldn't want to travel on much less (although you could, but then you'd have to "rough it" a bit more and be more selective with where you go and what you buy).  I'd probably also recommend about £1000 for the week per person, just so you have a bit extra for  taxi fares or something.  Not to mention to buy some souvenirs for loved ones back home.  London can be quite pricey.  If you really don't want to worry about running out of cash then maybe you should be thinking in the order of £200 a day, or about £1400.  If there is one thing I hate when I'm on holiday, it's worrying about how much I am spending or running out.  I'd rather take too much than not enough.

  2. Meals - Lunch £5 for a sandwich and drink, Evening £20 for a good meal, much less if you are not fussy.

Entertainment - £50 for best theatre seats, about the same for a club and drinks

Sightseeing - Weekly travelcard £25, sights £20 each, museums free

    Min £1000 for the week

  3. i would have to say, about 3,000 for spending

  4. Its expensive here but sightseeing is VERY VERY boring here.
