It's for two people in Marrakesh in August and the hotel provides breakfast.

  1. Not sure about pounds but I would say that the more you have the better off you will be.  You will have more flexibility when it comes to souvenirs, romantic dinners etc.  Now a days in a foreign country I would recommend a thousand dollars as a minimum.  But keep in mind that could be a low figure.  I haven't traveled outside the country since 1985 when I came back from Germany.  Good luck to you and take lots of pictures.

  2. It depends on what is included with your hotel. I would say about £10 a day for food and drinks. About £20 a night for going out to clubs and pubs and about a £15 a day for sight seeing.  I would say abouut £350 for a week.

  3. Your question is vague. Needs more details. Where in Morocco are you going to be? What City? What time of the year. Moroccan are very hospitable, and if you are going to stay or be with a Moroccan friend, then paying for food or hotels would be the least of your problems.Let's assume you don't have a place to stay now (summer time, the country is full of visitors and tourists), you need a hotel. A 4 star about 25 to 35 dollars in Rabat, 3stars 25 to 45 dollars in Marrakech. Some breakfast is included at 3 stars and above. You will need roughly 10 to 15 dollars of cab's fee if you don't have a car (to go around and visit monuments. A meal: Sandwitches with soda or tea could cost you around 8 or 9 dollars. A good meal at a restaurant around 30 each. Souvenirs from there about 200 to 300 dollars should be enough to get you plenty. Make sure you bargain. If you ask how much and they tell you 400 dirhams about 40 dollars, the seller will sell it, if your bargain for 100. If he says 400, tell him right away: 50. He will come down to 300, then 200 if you insist on 50. If you buy many things the seller will give you a big discount. If you find good Moroccan friends there, take them with you shopping, and just point what you like and let them bargain.

I told you just about a place to stay, food, getting around (taxi) and some souvenir to buy, and that all you need even if you are touring somewhere in England

Good Luck and have fun if you go
