  1. It will depend on multiple things but you can always tell when it is getting ready to shed. Its eye will get a milky blue/white film over them. The body will also get this shiny milky look to it. This will last for a few days to a week then go away usually within a day or two it will shed. When you see this happening stop feeding it. Snake generally don't eat when they are getting ready to shed. Good luck.

  2. if you feed it once a week you are looking at about once every 3 months.  it depends how many calories you are putting into the animal and how much it is growing

  3. Hello; that depends on their age, care, how often they are fed, etc.

The average for a baby to a juvenile that is fed weekly is once every 4-6 weeks (sometimes a little more or less, depending on the snake), slowing down to 2-6 times per year when the snake reaches its adult size. :)

Here are a couple of articles on shedding in snakes, the general process, frequency, common problems, and what to do about them should they occur.

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subjet; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you. :)

    Good luck your Stimsons python!
