Question:

Roulette - A few questions?

I played Roulette on www.roulette4fun.com and I could convert the initial $999 into $5000. Could anyone tell me if the Roulette in that site is like the Roulette in casinos? Or are there any differences?

For example, on that site they allow you to place single chips on multiple numbers... Is that allowed in casinos?

  1. Yes.

You only have to watch the minimum bet requires.

  2. Yes that is the same roulette that is in casinos and yes you can place chips on as many numbers as you want.

  3. All areas have slightly different rules (i.e., Las Vegas and Atlantic City have some slight differences), so check with the casino when you get there. For instance, in some places, when 0 or 00 come up (green), you lose your entire black or red bet, whereas in other places, they take half of your bet. Some wheels have only one 0 whereas others have 0 and 00 (2 0s).

That said, check the table minimums. If the place has a $5 min., you can bet 5 individual $1 chips on 5 different numbers, as long as the total bet is $5 or more. In other places, the min bet may be $10, in which case, you can place 10 $1 bets on individual numbers. When it comes to red/black or odd/even or other similar bets, though, you have to bet the minimum on each. In other words, you can't bet $2 on red and $3 on even if the minimum is $5. You have to bet $5 on each for the bets to count. But you can bet $1 on 3, 8, 18, 21, and 25 and still have it count as a $5 minimum. I hope that helps.
