The Merseyside club recently claimed the signature of the 24-year old from Olympiakos, for an estimated transfer fee of 5.3 million pounds. already strong-looking Toffees offensive front.
Assessing the striker’s performance against Orient, the 41-year old mentioned that he is yet to get into his full stride, after recovering from a knee injury. However, he hailed his remarkable agility and good finishing in the first half, but felt that he
was not at his best after the interval.
While talking to reporters, he said: “Kevin gave us a cameo of what he's about with his speed, his movement and his finishing… That is why we have got him at the club. He tired quite badly in the second half but we expected that.”
“He missed quite a chunk of pre-season with a knee injury. He's not really up to speed yet but he is getting there.”
The win on Wednesday enabled Everton to continue with their phenomenal start to the season, having recorded wins over Manchester United and Aston Villa in their opening games.

“Having everyone fit and with the quality we have got within our 16 or 17 players, we could make those changes and still be competitive. Credit to the guys who came in,” he added.
