  1. Use a drill bit a little smaller than the s***w head and drill till it falls off.

Once off lift to brake can top off and using a pair of vise grips try and work the remaining stud loose.

  2. Geez you guys

Go to a bike shop and buy a IMPACT DRIVER

Firecracker, Ive been using the same impact driver for over 30 years.

If you know how to use it, there isn't a s***w you cant get out.

If you don't know how to use it, don't blame the tool for your lack of knowledge

  3. It is a little time consuming to do, but not too difficult... Basically you do this...

Take a drill with a small drill bit, and drill out the center of the rounded off s***w.  Then use a slightly larger drill bit and widen the hole.  When you drill the final hole it should be close to the screws edges.  At this point, you simply take a flat blade s***w driver, and bend the edges until the s***w pieces fall out.  If you have damaged the threads in the process, this simply retap them with a tap set...

    I Hope this Helps...

  4. Answers above may work, but limited access to the heads will prevent most.

Those should be Phillips head screws.

If so, here's what I would do:

Using a drill with a bit that is just a hair larger than the s***w, drill through the head. Just through, no further. The head may "pop" off the s***w when you get there.

    Remove the cover.

With vise grips, remove the screws. There should be just enough left sticking out to grab.

If you can't grab it, it's time for an easy out. I prefer the spiral kind.

Make sure you fully clean out the reservoir before putting it back together. Metal shavings can ruin your day.

  5. Make sure you are using the correct screwdriver.  Get a kit that has like 4 or 5 phillips bits and get the one that fits best.  I know several Hondas are a bit different that standard 4 way bits, I think they are a bit steeper and sharper.  Sears also sells a tool that drills and removes such screws.  Ease Outs (s***w extractors) may be too large for such small screws.  Try a different bit first, I have had screws I thought were hopeless and got them out when I change screwdrivers.

  6. drill and use an easy-out

put a slot in it with a dremel tool, then use a straight s***w driver

grind off the heads with a dremel tool,

therell be enough threads left to take out with vice-grips
