Roundworms?

How do humans become infected with roundworms when it affects the eye? does the larva (egg) get into the eye or does the egg hatch inside the human stomach and then travel up to the eye?

  1. it doesnt stay just in the eye. It lives in your stomach and intestines. I just bought the family a whole supple of deparaciters this weekend. We like to do it every 6 months to prevent such unsightly visitors in our organism

    Oh, and humans can get it from infected drinking water, or from other animals that carry them like a dog so often does.

Ocular larval migrans is the name for this condition.  It happens when humans ingest (swallow) roundworm eggs left behind by pets or other animals like raccoons.  That is why it is very important to CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET, and to wash your hands after gardening, etc.  And don't let your tots eat dirt.
