  1. How many of you are going I am going next friday to Westport in mayo if thats when u r going will give u a lift.

From Airport you need to take a bus or taxi to Belfast Central station then a train to Dublin in Dublin you need to go to another train station as Connelly street only serves the north and east side i cant remember off hand the name of the other train station but that takes you to the west side of ireland .

I would suggest you take a hire car in Belfast

and http://www.theaa.co.uk has a route map on the right in the middle of the page you need to change it to other routes and pick ireland and it will give you the route to castle bar i'm using it to get to Westport .

  2. Rent your car in Belfast and drive to Mayo it Will be cheeper I have linked the route below for you

  3. There are no train links from Belfast International Airport, but there is a bus service that takes you from the airport to Belfast City Centre rail stations. From Belfast Central Station get the Enterprise train service to Dublin, and from there train links can get you to Castlebar - though you might have to change stations in Dublin.

Alternatively get bus to Belfast, stay, enjoy hospitality and pints :)

  4. From the airport to Belfast:

    Trains

A shuttle bus service operates between the Airport Terminal and the adjacent rail halt at Sydenham. Translink operate a twice hourly rail service (0600-1800) Monday-Friday to Central and Victoria Street Stations. The service is hourly after 18.00 and on. Saturday and Sunday.   The approximate cost to Central Station is £1.05. Connections are available from Central Station to the rest of the rail network in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.

    From Belfast to Dublin:

There are eight daily trains, trip time is 2h 22 min.

    From Dublin to Castlebar Mayo:

There are three daily trains from Dublin Heuston to Castlebar, trip time is 3h 20, you can change trains on the same day but  perhaps is better to spent a night in Dublin, as you must change stations.  Try the travelplanner of irishrail to see the possibilites.
