Route to Arsikere (Nr. Tumkur) from Bangalore?

Can anyone help me with the route to Arsikere , which is near Tumkur.. from Bangalore City, What is the distance and how good is the road for travelling ? From Bangalore which road i have to take to reach this place ?

From Bangalore around 175kms

Bangalore-tumkur-gubbi-nittur- K.B. cross-Tiptur next is Arsikere

It is on the bangalore honnavar highway there are hundred of buses and around 4-5 trains also availabe

By intercity express it is two and half hours journey

By bus around 4 to 4 and half hours

from mg road - chinnaswamy  stadium - governor's house - hotel  le-meridian (under bridge) to cauvery theater - sanki tank (shivaji maharajah statue) -yeshwanthpur- (NH-4) -dasarahalli -peenya-nelmangala - tumkur- (from there any one will tell u where is it ..jst keep going the same high way)

Just visit www.maps.yahoo.co.in and type in the from destination (Bangalore) and to destination (Arsikere) and it'll draw a map showing the exact route and distance.
