I have a linksys router attached to my computer. I have a D-link router piggybacking off of that router with the radio disabled on the linksys. I am trying to find the gateway for the d-link router. Does anyone know how I can find this?

  1. the gateway for the d-link router is the linksys router. If the linksys is 192.168.1.1 and d-link is 192.168.2.1 then the gateway for the d-link is 192.168.1.1

  2. turn off the dhcp on the dlink router

attach the ethernet cable from the linksys to one of the four lan ports of the dlink router ( not the single wan port)

The linksys router will handle the ports on the dlink as if it was built into it
