Router Settings with my Nintendo DS?

Im trying to get my DS to connect to my router but i have WPA Security on it and the DS can only support WEP security settings. But, my brothers laptop can only support WPA and WPA2 Security settings and its his router. Is there anyway to get my ds to support more recent security settings on my router

No, the Nintendo DS cannot connect to wifi with your router if it's not WEP.

Alternatively, you could purchase one of those USB wifi things, so you can connect to wifi using the USB instead of connecting through the WEP settings of your router, which you do not have.
