Router that doesnt Route?

Hello, Im wondering if I were to buy a wireless router if I could essentially turn off its routing capabilities and make it just a switch and an access point? Is this possible?

yes! what you will have to do is disable any type of ip giving by disabling dhcp in the router settings. then, instead of puling in the cable that has the internet into the "internet port" on the back, just plug it in as a computer in the 1-4 Ethernet ports. send me a message if you don't understand and i can explain it more clearly.

Sure, just change the router modem from "router" to "gateway"
