Routing number on my atm card?!?

okay i have a savings account and i have an atm card , and all the paperwork and stuff..

i am trying to sign up for a local gym online and it says you can use youre " checking account"

and you need youre " account number..."

which i have

and i also need my routing number?!?

Notice they say "checking" account.  So besides getting the routing number from your bank, you would have to check with your bank to see if you are allowed to make payments like that from your "savings" account.

There is no routing number on your ATM card.  You will find it on your checks.  They are the 9 numbers to the left on the bottom of your checks.  If you do not have a checks, only an atm card, call or go to your local branch and ask what your routing number is.

If you only have a savings account and they didn't give you any account specific deposit slips, your only option is to call the bank and ask for their routing number.

Are you SURE you want to do this, a lot of gyms are really good at starting deductions but really poor at stopping deductions when you want to cancel your membership.  I think it is the new: " Join for  a year and pay for three years plan."
