Rover expansion bottle water bubbling?

I recently put my car into have its mot and since then it hasnt been right. Its losing and leaking water from somewhere in the middle of the car and every time i turn it on the water in the expansion bottle start bubbling frantically. Ive not had this before and its had a new radiator fitted 12 months back and is otherwise fine.

  1. bubbles are a sign of over heating  but if it doe it when cold then is a bad head gasket.. and you say middel of car you mean like in front in the middle thats might be a water pump  but coul dbe a hose really why not rasie the hood and look a round might be something you can fix like a bad hose... just need a screwdriver.. woul dbe smarter to have it check running it hot any time is bad and leaking it out once is not so bad but really you keep going like you are you wil be buying a new car soon so just take it anywhere clsoe by and say i have a water leak can you help me.. would be smart and cheaper than a new car or motor


  2. Get your thermostst checked, also head gasket...

  3. sounds like you may have a cracked head , water bubbling is a sign of head gasket as compression gasses enter into the  cooling system  a competent mechanic can test this for you and advise on a cost
