Rowe happy with the long-term future of Exeter
Exeter chairman Tony Rowe says that future of the club has now been secured by their promotion to the Premiership.
Rowe says that the amount of money that the club will receive this season through sponsorship and ticket sales means that the club is secure off of the pitch and can build a better future.
Exeter won promotion to the Premiership when they beat Bristol in the Championship play-off final at the back end of last season. They have since made a number of quality additions to their playing squad and are no longer the favourites to go down by the end of the season.
The Premiership will allow Exeter to improve a number of areas in the club and it's important to consider these because it will have an impact on the team.

Improvements that can be made
Improvements can now be made in a number of different areas. The club can spend their chunk of cash on improving facilities. This means a better medical unit and a better training ground. This will make the life of a player much easier in terms of rehabilitation or if he wants to improve his technique.
They can also spend some money on their academy system. This will be the most important investment that the club make because the academy will be producing the players who will form the basis of the team within the next four or five years.
The club are now able to attract the sorts of players they could previously only dream of. Stars from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and all of the home nations will be attracted to the club. This in turn will raise the quality of the playing squad and should ensure that they stay in the Premiership for the foreseeable future.
Rowe said: "It will benefit us fantastically. It's a great sponsor to have as we understand Aviva has a big client base in the West Country and we trust we are going to benefit from their profile being associated with us and the Premiership. Some of that £20m will come directly to the clubs, but we will benefit on top of that because we believe Aviva will spend money with us as a club anyway. No doubt they will be in touch with us."
Secure the future
It's vital that Exeter use the money they receive to set the club up for the immediate future. This will give them the best chance of coping financially if they go down and bouncing back at the first attempt. It will also ensure that any players who come through the ranks at a later point, while Exeter may not be in the Premiership, get the benefit of Premiership standard facilities.

There are a lot of good teams in the Championship but not all of them have the best facilities and this is where the differences will be were Exeter to be relegated. It will put them one step ahead of many other Championship teams who will all be trying to get a Premiership place.
Rowe added: "All the sponsorship money that goes to Premiership Rugby goes into one pot and then it's divided between the teams. We will benefit from about an extra £1m a year as a result of going up through central funding from Premier Rugby."
Betting advice
Do not fall into the trap of thinking that Exeter are a small club because they look in very good shape to attack the Premiership. They have a small but motivated group of coaches and players and you can back them confidently to avoid relegation at the first time of asking.
