The aggressive Rowena was on a different level on court as she played remarkable badminton throughout the contest and did not take much time in finishing it off in straight games with a tremendous margin on the board.

After the break, Rowena kept the pace of rallies high without sparing any chance for her rival to reduce the deficit. She remained on driving seat in the whole set and finished it off with a huge 21-12 margin on the board.
The second game of this Women’s Singles battle was entertaining as Melissa also played competitive badminton and did not let Rowena to take a comfortable lead on the board until the break.
However, Rowena got her rhythm back after the break as she increased her speed and took the bird early which helped her to get back on the driving seat.
