Other then the Envi being a bit longer, what construction differences justify the $100 + price difference. Does the Ally have a sintered base?

  1. The ally is a twin shaped directional board.  Meaning the board is shaped exactly the same in the nose as it is in the tail.  Twin shaped boards are good for park riding.  But being directional means that the flex is different in the nose from the tail.  The Ally does have a sintered base.  The Ally is a better all around board.  Hence the reason who Future and Transworld snowboard magazines have given this board the good work stamp of approval.

The Envi is Longer, narrower and stiffer than the Ally, with a longer nose and set back stance for working Powder.  The board is eco friendly, great for pow, but that’s about it.
